Shell Gift Card

The Gift Card is issued by CORAL S.A. as a means of payment for purchases made in the network of petrol stations operating under the Shell brands in Greece, provided that they accept this payment method.

The Gift Card is sold exclusively at the cash desks of the Shell petrol station network operated by the companies HERMES SA and MYRTEA SA.

Their purchase is made using any payment method accepted at these petrol stations.

Gift Cards have a face value of €20, €50 and €100. The face value of the Gift Cards corresponds to the amount of money credited to these cards.

Upon payment and receipt of the Gift Card, a receipt of an amount equal to the nominal value of the card is issued.

The Gift Card is used exclusively to make purchases from all products and services available from the Shell network of service stations in Greece that accept the Gift Card.

The Gift Card is non-refundable, non-exchangeable for money and cannot be used as a credit card.

The Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.

Purchases with the SC Gift Card do not give change. The remaining amount credited to the card can be used in future purchases.

The Gift Card can be used either as a unique payment method or in combination with other payment methods such as cash, credit/debit card of Credit Institutions, etc. That is, if the customer makes a purchase that exceeds the available amount credited to the card, the difference can be paid either in cash or by any other payment method accepted by the service station where the transaction takes place.

For each purchase of a product or service from the Shell network of service stations that accept the Gift Card, only one Gift Card can be used and no more combined.

The Gift Card can be used in as many transactions as the holder wishes until the total amount credited to the card has been spent.

In case of a technical problem where the transaction cannot be carried out through the electronic transaction management system using the Gift Card, the cardholder will pay the purchase price by any other payment method accepted by the service station where the transaction is made.

After the expiration date of the Gift Card, the balance of the card is automatically deleted and it becomes inactive.

The Gift Card is intended for exclusive use by its holder, since the Gift Card is not nominal, i.e. is not issued in the name of its purchaser, the holder of the Gift Card has the personal responsibility for its safekeeping and proper use. CORAL S.A. and the service station owners who operate the Shell brands that accept the Gift Card do not bear any responsibility for any loss, theft or destruction of the Gift Card. In particular, it is clarified that in case of loss, theft or destruction of the Gift Card, it is not replaced and the customer will not be entitled to any compensation against CORAL S.A. or the service station owners.

The Shell GO+ loyalty card is not used when paying for the Gift Card. The Shell GO+ card will only be able to be used when purchasing products and services using the Gift Card.

CORAL S.A. reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, a different ratio of Shell GO+ points for purchases made using the Gift Card.

CORAL S.A. is entitled to unilaterally modify any term of this contract at any time. Any such modification will be notified to the owner by posting on the Shell Greece website https://www.shell.gr/el_gr/shell-service-stations/ypiresies/shell-gift-card.html

All intellectual property rights, trademarks and distinctive features related to the Gift Card belong to CORAL S.A. and are protected by applicable national, EU and international law. The holder is obliged not to take any action that would infringe in any way the above rights of CORAL S.A.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties with respect to the Gift Card, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In the event that the Gift Card does not work, our liability is limited solely to the replacement of the card in question with another card, to which the unspent balance of the original card will be credited.

The company's failure to exercise any of its rights deriving from these terms and conditions of use of the Gift Card will not constitute a waiver of this right and will not affect its future exercise

Any invalidity of a term from these Terms and Conditions does not affect the validity of the remaining terms.

The use of the Gift Card constitutes an explicit and unconditional acceptance of these terms by the cardholder.

Any dispute arising from the purchase and use of the Gift Card is subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens and is governed by Greek law.
